Dr. Gandhi specializes in sports medicine with emphasis on shoulder, elbow, hip and knee arthroscopic and open reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Gandhi has a special interest in the management and treatment of complex shoulder disorders, including minimally invasive approaches for rotator cuff disease, labrum and ligament injuries, instability and shoulder replacement surgery.
Throughout his training, Dr. Gandhi worked as an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Sparks, Anaheim Ducks and the University of Southern California Football Team. He has been very active in orthopedic research, and has presented at both national and international meetings.
As a passionate sports enthusiast, Dr. Gandhi understands the finer aspects involved in taking care of athletes across all age groups. His personal interests include golf, basketball, running, swimming, skiing and softball. Dr. Gandhi places a high emphasis on patient education and the pre-optimization of his patients, as well as intensive support of his patients throughout the care and recovery process.
