Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

Trudy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 2019 before earning her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2022. During her education, she completed a clinical rotation in outpatient orthopedics, where she discovered her passion for treating hand and upper extremity conditions.

Trudy specializes in the evaluation and treatment of hand- and wrist-based injuries and is dedicated to helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. She recently earned the distinguished Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential, a nationally recognized certification that requires therapists to complete at least 4,000 hours of direct hand and upper extremity clinical practice and successfully pass a comprehensive certification examination. This advanced certification reflects Trudy's specialized expertise and commitment to providing the highest level of care for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.

In her free time, Trudy enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying active outdoors through skiing and hiking.
